Ashton Jeanty Graded No. 3 Prospect in NFL Draft by 'A Lot' of Insiders, Says McShay
Ashton Jeanty has made a strong impression on NFL teams throughout the predraft process, according to NFL draft expert Todd McShay.
"Jeanty is special," McShay said during a Monday appearance on The Mina Kimes Show (17:00 mark). "I don't know that I've talked to anyone in the league that doesn't have him in at least the top five players in this class, but a lot have him at three."

Representatives from all 32 teams were reportedly present at Boise State's pro day to watch the running back participate in positional drills.
Jeanty is coming off an impressive senior season with the Broncos, leading the country with 2,601 rushing yards while scoring 30 total touchdowns. He remained efficient with the ball in his hands despite racking up 374 attempts on the ground, averaging 7.0 yards per carry.
The 21-year-old finished second in 2024 Heisman Trophy voting, operating as the offensive engine of a Boise State squad that finished with a 12-2 record and made a College Football Playoff appearance.
Jeanty was graded as the No. 1 running back and No. 6 overall prospect on the latest big board from Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department.
B/R NFL Scout Dame Parson highlighted Jeanty's scheme versatility in his scouting report.
"Overall, Ashton Jeanty is a high-volume and playmaking running back," Parson wrote. "Between his bowling ball-esque frame and innate contact balance, Jeanty's game translates incredibly well to the NFL. He fits today's run offenses with wide zone and pin-pull gap schemes."
While Jeanty's exact draft range isn't a certainty given his position, he's still reportedly viewed as one of the top overall prospects available.
