Ashton Jeanty's Pro Day Attended By All 32 NFL Teams amid Raiders, Draft Rumors

NFL talent evaluators got another look at Ashton Jeanty as the star running back participated in Boise State's pro day Wednesday.

The Heisman Trophy runner-up is considered one of the best players in the 2025 NFL draft class. He sits eighth overall on Bleacher Report's big board.

Every NFL team had a representative on hand for Wednesday's event, according to Mike Prater of KTIK 95.3 FM The Ticket. Las Vegas Raiders general manager John Spytek was among that group. Jeanty has been a popular choice for Las Vegas with the No. 6 selection.

Not surprisingly, Jeanty wasn't a full participant in the pro day. He approached the scale and weighed in at 213 pounds, two pounds heavier than his combine number. After that, he took it pretty easy, declining to do the bench press or 40-yard dash.

Jeanty did at least partake in some positional drills.

Ultimately, there was little the Maxwell Award winner had to gain from Wednesday's showcase. He's already considered a top-10 candidate, and the biggest factor that will determine where he lands in the draft wouldn't have been decided by anything that happened at Boise State's pro day.

The overarching question with Jeanty is whether it makes sense to take any running back in the top 10 with how much the position has been devalued.

Maybe he's simply that good. Saquon Barkley's prolific first season with the Philadelphia Eagles was also an example of how an elite ball-carrier can help a championship contender.

Jeanty could've run a 4.3-second 40-yard dash and it probably would've had little bearing on how teams are scouting him. He has put more than enough on tape to warrant consideration as a top-tier draft prospect.
