Henderson is ranked as the No. 7 running back and the No. 71 overall prospect available this April on Bleacher Report's latest 2025 NFL Draft Big Board.
B/R NFL scout Dame Parson described Henderson as "a dynamic and explosive athlete who's capable of generating consistent big plays."
He finished his senior season at Ohio State having led the Big Ten with 7.1 yards per rushing attempt, finishing with 1,016 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns in 16 games.
Schultz previously reported that Cowboys and Bengals were among the teams meeting with Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins. Judkins is ranked just above Henderson as the No. 6 running back and No. 69 overall prospect available on the B/R Big Board.
The Cowboys added two veteran running backs this offseason by signing Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders, but could use another addition to the room after ranking among the bottom six teams in the NFL in rushing yards per game last season.
The Bengals, another bottom-six rushing team last season, are currently set to bring back Chase Brown after his breakout 2024 campaign but are likely still looking to improve the run game around Joe Burrow next fall.
The Panthers are bringing back Chuba Hubbard and added Rico Dowdle this spring, but could be looking for another running back after Jonathon Brooks suffered an ACL tear for a second straight season last December.
The 2025 NFL draft is set to begin on April 24 in Green Bay.
