Schefter Talks Shedeur Sanders' 'Wild Card' Landing Spots, Considers Dolphins, Cards
Many have projected Colorado's Shedeur Sanders to be a top-five pick in the upcoming NFL draft, though he isn't quite as much of a lock to be a top pick as Miami's Cam Ward.
As draft experts continue trying to figure out where Sanders will land, ESPN's Adam Schefter provided a handful of hypothetical "wild card" landing spots for the star quarterback.
He pointed to the Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints, among others, as potential landing spots for Sanders if he's not taken early.

"I don't think (Miami) is likely, but I'm not completely dismissing it," Schefter said (14:10 mark). "I don't think Arizona's likely, but there have been questions about Kyler Murray. There have been questions about the owner not being a huge fan."
Sanders had a phenomenal career at Colorado, throwing for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions as a senior. While his numbers are impressive, the buzz surrounding him potentially being a No. 1 pick has died down significantly over the past few weeks.
Even if he's not worth spending a top-five pick on, he could get playing time right away or emerge as a starter in the near future for a number of teams.
Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department projects Sanders to go ninth overall to the Saints, where he would likely rival Derek Carr for the starting spot under center in his rookie year.
