OSU's Emeka Egbuka to Reportedly Visit Packers amid Cowboys Interest Before NFL Draft
Multiple NFC teams are reportedly interested in Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka ahead of the 2025 NFL draft.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Monday that Egbuka visited with the Dallas Cowboys on Friday and Saturday as well as the Green Bay Packers on Monday. He is also scheduled to visit with the Packers again on Tuesday.
Egbuka is a candidate to go late in the first round or early in the second round, so the Packers are certainly a potential landing spot at No. 23 overall. Yet the Cowboys may have selections both too early and too late when it comes to the Ohio State product, as they are slotted to select at No. 12 in the first round and No. 44 in the second round.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
B/R's NFL Scouting Department projected the Philadelphia Eagles to select the wide receiver with the final pick of the first round in its most recent mock draft, which underscores where he could hear his name called.
"In this particular case, Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka is the class' best pure route-runner and a ready-made target," B/R's Brent Sobleski wrote. "He can easily slide into an offense that may experience some change in the coming months."
There are plenty of teams that would surely love to have Egbuka after an incredibly productive collegiate career.
He helped lead the Buckeyes to the College Football Playoff national championship in his final season and left as the school's all-time leader with 2,858 receiving yards. While that is partially a product of playing in four different seasons during an era of up-tempo offenses and dangerous aerial attacks, it is all the more remarkable that he holds the record because he was never his team's No. 1 option.
After all, he played with the likes of Jeremiah Smith, Marvin Harrison Jr., Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson at different times during his tenure with the Scarlet and Gray.
Yet Egbuka's ability to remain productive despite being overshadowed by other go-to options is certainly of note for a team like the Cowboys. His excellent route-running ability allowed him to fully take advantage of the space created by the attention the other receivers drew from opposing secondaries.
That is exactly what he could do playing alongside someone like CeeDee Lamb at the next level. The Cowboys need other reliable wide receivers outside of the four-time Pro Bowler, and Egbuka could be the No. 2 option as soon as his rookie season.
Green Bay is in somewhat of a different position with no true dominant No. 1 like Lamb but a number of productive pass-catchers in Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed, Mecole Hardman and Dontayvion Wicks.
Egbuka would still be a valuable addition, but he might make more sense as a true No. 2 in an offense like the one in Dallas.
