The reigning Big-12 Offensive Player of the year unleashed several deep bombs while maintaining the level of accuracy that has made him a highly-touted prospect.
He went 58-of-63 on the day and reportedly was perfect in the two-minute drill, per Shrine Bowl Director of Operations Eric Galko.
Fans took to social media to praise Sanders' performance and project where he will be selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Sanders is rated as the No. 18 overall player and the No. 2 quarterback in the 2025 Draft class by Bleacher Report's NFL Scouting Department. He threw for 4,134 yards with 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions and led the Buffaloes to a 9-4 record and their first Bowl Game since 2020.
Friday was his opportunity to show his physical tools and make a final case to prospective teams. His strong performance should paint a positive final picture as teams prepare for the first round on April 24.
