Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter to Have Dinner with Browns amid 2025 Colorado Pro Day

Julia StumbaughApr 3, 2025

The Cleveland Browns are reportedly wining and dining both Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Browns plan to host Sanders and Hunter for a private dinner while in Boulder for Colorado's pro day, Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot reported.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders is expected to attend the dinner, according to Cabot.

Cleveland currently has 10 picks in the upcoming draft, including the No. 2 and No. 33 picks.

Hunter and Sanders are ranked as the No. 1 and No. 18 prospects, respectively, on the latest 2025 NFL Draft Big Board by the B/R NFL Scouting Department.

The prospects will be joined by Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, general manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski, Cabot reported.

Haslam told Cabot he has never before met Deion Sanders, but that Berry dined with him in January and "said it went really well."

Offensive coordinator Tommy Rees and quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave are also "likely" to attend the dinner, Cabot reported.

The Browns previously held a private dinner with Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter, per reports from Cabot and ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The team has also privately worked out with a group of prospects, including Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart and Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, according to Cabot.

The Tennessee Titans are rumored to be considering drafting Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 pick.

That could leave the Browns deciding between targeting the quarterback position or selecting the best player available at No. 2.

Colorado's NFL Showcase is set to take place on Friday. The latter part of the event, which the Buffaloes report will feature 16 draft-eligible prospects, will be broadcast on the NFL Network starting at 2:30 p.m. ET.
