NFL's Official Records to Incorporate AAFC Stats After Rule Change at Annual Meetings
The All-America Football Conference, which existed between 1946-49, will now be included in the NFL's official record books, per the Associated Press.
NFL owners approved the Competition Committee's proposal to include team, coach and player statistics from the AAFC into the NFL's official records. The AAFC included the Cleveland Browns—who under Paul Brown won the title in each year of the league's existence—San Francisco 49ers and the original Baltimore Colts, each of whom joined the NFL in 1950.
According to the AP, the NFL will now add "52 additional regular-season and playoff wins to [Brown's] previous total of 170, moving him from 22nd place all time to seventh with 222."

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The 1948 Browns, who went 15-0, will now officially be one of just two teams in NFL history to have registered a perfect season, joining the 1972 Miami Dolphins (17-0).
Among the Pro Football Hall of Famers to appear in the AAFC are Otto Graham, Lou Groza, Elroy Hirsch, Tom Landry, Marion Motley, Joe Perry and Y.A. Tittle.
The AP also noted that the 1948 Niners "now have the single-season rushing record with 3,663 yards, eclipsing the previous mark of 3,296 by the Ravens in 2019. San Francisco's 6.07 yards per carry that season is also the new record, ahead of Baltimore's 5.76 this past season."
The league was comprised of the Buffalo Bisons, Chicago Rockets, Browns, Los Angeles Dons, New York Yankees, 49ers, Brooklyn Dodgers and Miami Seahawks. The Colts replaced the Seahawks after one season and the Bisons were renamed the Bills.
