Eli Manning Jokes About Win Percentage in Photo With Caitlin Clark, Serena Williams

Jack MurrayMar 31, 2025

Eli Manning was understanding of the company he was with on Monday for his panel discussion at the 2025 NFL owners meetings.

The two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback was joined by investor Mellody Hobson, WNBA star Caitlin Clark and tennis legend Serena Williams for a panel discussion at the meetings. The discussion was titled “The Changing Face of Sports and Its Impact on the NFL.”

Following the event, Manning took a picture with the trio and acknowledged that his career winning percentage is low by comparison.

Manning played 16 NFL seasons, all with the New York Giants, and was a four-time Pro Bowler and two-time Super Bowl champion. Despite his significant highs, he only compiled a regular season record of 117-117, which is a .500 winning percentage. His 8-4 record in the postseason certainly elevates his legacy, but his fellow athlete panelists had a bit more consistent winning.

Clark is entering her second WNBA season and her first season featured similar winning to Manning. Her Indiana Fever went 20-20 and fell in the first round to the Connecticut Sun. However, her collegiate career featured wild success at Iowa and included two trips to the NCAA championship game.

At Iowa, she compiled a 109-30 overall record, which is a .784 win percentage.

Williams has had incredible success in her tennis career, winning 23 Grand Slams and 73 total titles. She has an overall record of 858-156, which is a .846 winning percentage.

While Manning's career winning percentage does lag behind a bit, all three have had significant success and Clark has some work to do to reach the championship pedigree of Manning and Williams.
