Wolves Suffer Worst Playoff Loss Ever
Broome had immediately went to the locker room after clutching his right arm, which appeared to be immobile in what seemed like a scary situation for the star player.
Before the injury, the senior had recorded 22 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.
Broome contested a shot at the rim, landing awkwardly on his left leg and right hand. Despite the apparent seriousness of the injuries he returned to play and finished the game with 25 points and 14 rebounds.
Throughout the season, Broome has led the Tigers while averaging a double-double with 18.5 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 50.5 percent from the field.
With the 70-64 win over the Michigan State Spartans, Broome and the Tigers advanced to the Final Four, where they will take on No. 1 seed Florida State on April 5.
