OVER 10 Colorado Rockies/Cincinnati Reds:
The Rockies are flying as we hit the homestretch of the 2009 season. Right now, they lead the NL Wild Card race by 3 games over the Giants, but only trail the Dodgers by 2.5 in the NL West. The offense has been unreal of late, and the pitching has held it’s own.

Jose Contreras goes for the Rockies today, and he’s been pretty bad all year, but solid since Colorado acquired him. He is 2-2 with a 5.63 ERA in his last 5 efforts.

The Reds will counter with Kip Wells (1-3 4.85). Wells, like Contreras did not start the year with his current club. He;s bounced around the Majors for years, and is probably running out of chances. Look for a high scoring game today in Colorado.
