Ashton Jeanty Graded as '1 of the Cleanest Prospects' by NFL Scouts, Says Insider
Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty is reportedly drawing rave reviews from NFL talent evaluators ahead of the 2025 NFL draft.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Thursday that scouts have told him Jeanty is "one of the cleanest prospects, on and off field" and that he possesses "high character, coupled with the obvious talent."
Jeanty is widely regarded as the top running back in the 2025 draft class after finishing second in the Heisman Trophy voting last season.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap ๐ธ

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
After putting up huge numbers in 2023 with 1,347 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground along with 43 receptions for 569 yards and five scores, Jeanty went to another level in 2024.
Jeanty was nowhere near as involved in the passing game, finishing with only 23 catches for 138 yards and one touchdown, but he was an unstoppable force as a runner for most of the season.
The 21-year-old led all FBS players in carries (374) and rushing yards (2,601) and had the second-most rushing touchdowns with 29 while averaging a spectacular 7.0 yards per carry.
Jeanty willed Boise State into the College Football Playoff, and there was a ton of support behind him winning the Heisman, although he was barely beaten out by Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter.
The tape and numbers support the idea that Jeanty should be an early first-round pick, and he continued to impress at Boise State's pro day on Wednesday:
Jeanty looked to be in remarkable physical condition, and all 32 teams had representatives on hand to watch him and the other Boise State players, per Mike Praterย of KTIK 95.3 FM The Ticket.
No running back has been selected in the first round of two of the past three NFL drafts, but teams still place a high value on elite talent at the position.
That was evident in 2023 when the Atlanta Falcons took Bijan Robinson eighth overall and the Detroit Lions selected Jahmyr Gibbs 12th overall.
Every indication is that Jeanty will be a first-round pick, but it remains to be seen just how high he will go.
The B/R NFL Scouting Department ranked Jeanty as the No. 8 overall player in the draft on its latest big board and projected him to go 10th overall to the Chicago Bears in its latest mock draft.
Round 1 of the 2025 NFL draft will take place at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on April 24.
