Speaking to reporters, Campbell slammed the criticism of his arm length.
"For two years, nobody had any measurements on me and nobody said anything about my play," he said, according to New Orleans.Football's Mike Triplett. "So now all of a sudden, an arm length decides if Iâm a good player or not? I think itâs BS."
An obvious explanation is that one of the measurements was fractionally off. Dane Brugler of The Athletic and Arif Hasan of Wide Left pointed to how this is part of a wider trend from the 2025 combine:
The updated arm measurement will only help Campbell's draft stock, not that it wasn't high before. He's the No. 7 overall player and best interior lineman on Bleacher Report's 2025 big board.
In B/R's most recent mock draft, the Las Vegas Raiders fortified their line by picking Campbell sixth overall.
"The Raiders offensive line is hovering around the lower half of the league due to having just one proven, above-average starter in left tackle Kolton Miller," B/R NFL scout Brandon Thorn said. "Last year's draft class produced a promising piece inside with guard Jackson Powers-Johnson and a quality piece in right tackle DJ Glaze, who will compete for a job but overall there are more questions than answers with his lack of high-end talent that Campbell can immediately fill.
"Campbell is the top-ranked blocker in the class. Depending on how the situation develops, he could take over at right tackle or move inside at either guard spot to provide this Raiders line with an excellent run-blocker and sturdy pass-protector from Day 1."
