Tannenbaum does note his mock draft is based around the concept of what he would do if he were the general manager of each team, as opposed to traditional mocks that are built around what teams are expected to do.
It's obvious there are trends Tannenbaum keep following as a hypothetical general manager for these teams. For instance, this is the second straight year he has had the Rams taking a quarterback in the first round.
Last year's mock had the Rams using the 19th pick on Michael Penix Jr. It's not a bad strategy because Matthew Stafford is 37 years old and was available in a trade this offseason before agreeing to return to Los Angeles.
Dart is one of the more polarizing prospects in the 2025 class. Lane Kiffin's offensive system at Ole Miss is very RPO-heavy, making it difficult for NFL teams to get a proper evaluation of how his skill set will translate to the next level.
B/R's NFL scouting department has Dart ranked as the fourth-best quarterback and No. 58 overall prospect in the 2025 class.
Despite some of those scheme-based questions and readiness for the NFL, some prominent analysts are projecting Dart to be a first-round pick. ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. had him going No. 9 overall to the New Orleans Saints in his most recent mock.
Sanders seems to be making a comeback after some questions coming out of the NFL scouting combine. There's increasing chatter that the Colorado star is in serious consideration for the Cleveland Browns with the No. 2 pick.
Since Tannenbaum had the Browns use their pick on Travis Hunter, Sanders remains on the board for the Giants to add a potential long-term solution at quarterback that this franchise has been missing for years.
