Titans HC Callahan, Giants GM Schoen Among NFL Personnel at Cam Ward's Pro Day

Taylyn Hadley Mar 24, 2025

There was an abundance of NFL personnel present at the Miami Hurricanes' Pro Day to see projected No. 1 pick Cam Ward in action, with teams ranging from the Tennessee Titans to the New York Giants in attendance.

Over 90 NFL representatives from all 32 teams turned out to see Ward, along with other notable potential picks such as wide receiver Xavier Restrepo, running back Damien Martinez and tight end Elijah Arroyo, per The Draft Network's Ryan Fowler.

The Titans had the most representatives, as they hold the No. 1 pick and are eyeing their potential future franchise quarterback. President of football operations Chad Brinker, general manager Mike Borgonzi, head coach Brian Callahan, and several other members of the organization were all present on Monday.

Also in attendance for the New York Giants, who hold the third overall pick, were quarterbacks coach Shea Tierney and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, among others.

The Cleveland Browns, who hold the second overall pick, had just a handful of personnel present, including assistant general manager Glenn Cook and national scout Chris Buford.

The Titans have been showing heavy interest in drafting the Hurricane including taking the quarterback out to dinner on Sunday night, according to Pro Football Talk's Charean Williams.

In addition to the Titans' personnel in attendance, they have their in-house television and website production crew there to cover Ward, per The Athletic's Zac Jackson.

With the Titans in desperate need of a quarterback after second-year quarterback Will Levis struggled last season, throwing 12 interceptions and 13 touchdowns—including being benched in the team's loss to Cincinnati after throwing three interceptions.

According to NFL Spotlight's Ari Meirov, the Titans did not extensively search for a veteran quarterback at the start of free agency, as they appear to be all in on Ward ahead of the draft.

"They did not do any extensive talks with any of the top free agent quarterbacks," Meirov said. "Like they were not in on Sam Darnold. They have not been in on Aaron Rodgers. They checked in on Russell Wilson for like a split second—nothing serious there. They checked in on Carson Wentz—nothing serious there. They have not been talking about any of these veteran quarterback who could be a starter."

With much speculation surrounding him, the future of Ward will not be certain until the NFL Draft, set to take place April 24-26.
