Ward just completed his first season with Miami, where Njoku spent two years before the Browns selected him with a first-round pick in 2017.
The Browns currently hold the No. 2 pick in the upcoming draft. The team may need to trade up to the Tennessee Titans' No. 1 pick in order to select Ward, who is ranked on Bleacher Report's latest 2025 NFL Draft Board as the top quarterback available this spring.
After saying he plans to bring in quarterback competition for Will Levis this offseason, Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi has spent the early offseason building out his offensive line. Those moves, which included a four-year deal for left tackle Dan Moore, could indicate Tennessee is planning to target a quarterback this spring.
ESPN's Adam Schefter recently said he expects Ward to be the No. 1 pick regardless of whether Tennessee ultimately uses or trades the top selection. If the Browns want to pair up Njoku and Ward next season, the franchise may need to beat out other potentially interested teams like the New York Giants in order to make a deal with the Titans this spring.
