The top of Kiper's big board largely remained unchanged, as Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter maintained the No. 1 spot. Hunter was followed by Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter, Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty and Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
Interestingly, Sanders did a bit of shuffling with his quarterback rankings behind Sanders. Syracuse's Kyle McCord dropped from No. 4 in his previous rankings to No. 6, opening the door for Louisville's Tyler Shough and Ohio State's Will Howard to move up to No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
Some of the quarterback-needy teams across the NFL already addressed the position through the first official week of the offseason. The Las Vegas Raiders, who own the No. 6 pick in the 2025 draft, traded for veteran quarterback Geno Smith from the Seattle Seahawks, who replaced him by signing Sam Darnold. The New York Jets, who pick at No. 7, signed signal-caller Justin Fields to a two-year deal.
There are still multiple veterans remaining on the open market like Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson, so it remains to be seen if any future deals will affect draft strategies across the NFL before the first round begins on April 24.
