Players Championship 2025 Leaderboard: Full Cut Line List of Players Removed

Julia StumbaughMar 14, 2025

Xander Schauffele kept his historic cut-line streak alive during Friday's second round of THE PLAYERS Championship.

Schauffele entered the competition having put together the longest streak since Tiger Woods' 2005 season by making 58 straight cuts before he came close to missing the line at TPC Sawgrass.

A closing birdie helped him improve to 1-under 143 through two rounds, just above the -1 cut.

WD: Wyndham Clark

Wyndham Clark shot 4-over 40 over Friday's front nine before he withdrew from the tournament with a neck injury.

Åberg, the No. 5 golfer in the world, carded a trio of double bogeys on Friday, including one on the par-5 16th hole.

Matsuyama, ranked just behind Åberg at the world No. 6, bogeyed twice in the front nine and added another at No. 12 to fall below the line.

Homa finished Round 2 with a 1-under 71, but that wasn't enough to recover from a disastrous Thursday that saw him finish seven shots above par.

Finau was already below the cut line Friday when he cemented his place on the list with a double bogey on No. 17 followed by a bogey on No. 18.

Maverick McNealy and Viktor Hovland were other top-20 players who bowed out early from this weekend's competition at TPC Sawgrass.

Those early exits have left the field wide open heading into Saturday. Min Woo Lee and Akshay Bhatia currently share the lead at 11-under 133 through two rounds.
