The Seattle Seahawks are getting ready to pair up Cooper Kupp and Sam Darnold next season.
The Seahawks agreed to a three-year, $45 million deal with Kupp following his release from the Los Angeles Rams, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Friday.

The Seahawks had more than $60 million in available cap space, the third most in the NFL, prior to the trade (h/t Over the Cap.)
Kupp had been tied to other teams including the Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints prior to the trade.
The Athletic's Dianna Russini, Jourdan Rodrigue, Jon Machota, Saad Yousuf, Jeff Howe and Michael Silver reported earlier on Friday that Kupp was seekinga deal "as high as $15 million per year," but some teams were "not willing to offer a $13-14 million contract."
By offering him his asking price, the Seahawks were able to win the bidding war and secure another top target for Darnold.
Seattle also made Kupp one of the 25 highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL, according to Over the Cap, while committing to him through his age-34 season.
Kupp has struggled with injury in the three seasons since his 2021 Offensive Player of the Year campaign, but the Seahawks are making a bet he can rebound with a healthy campaign in 2025.
Jake Bobo, who has received limited targets through his first two NFL seasons, could play a bigger role in the Rams' offense next season unless the team decides to target a WR3 in this April's draft. The Rams currently hold seven picks, starting with the No. 26 selection in the first round.
