Micah Parsons Reacts to DeMarcus Lawrence Comments on Cowboys: 'This Some Clown S--t'
Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence are clashing over whether the Dallas Cowboys are Super Bowl contenders.
Lawrence, who recently signed with the Seattle Seahawks after 11 seasons with the Cowboys, said in a Thursday interview with Hawk Blogger he considers Dallas his home but knows "for sure I'm not going to win a Super Bowl there."
Parsons responded by calling Lawrence's comments the result of "rejection and envy."

Lawrence answered: "Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn’t have left."
Lawrence's deal with the Seahawks is worth up to $42 million with $18 million guaranteed, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
He missed the majority of the 2024 season with a foot injury, although his agent said in February he was "100 percent healthy" ahead of the 2025 campaign.
Parsons, whose contract is set to expire after his 2025 club option, is in the middle of his own extension negotiations with the Cowboys.
The Dallas Morning News' Calvin Watkins reported on March 2 the Cowboys had held "general conversations" with Parsons' agent about a potential extension.
Those negotiations could be complicated by the rising prices for the league's top defenders. The standard for the NFL's highest-paid non-quarterback has already risen twice this month, with Maxx Crosby's three-year, $106.5 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders being beaten out by Myles Garrett's four-year, $160 million extension with the Cleveland Browns.
The Cowboys restructured Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb's contracts in order to free up more than $56 million in cap space this offseason, Nick Harris reported last week for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Harris noted the Cowboys could potentially gain more cap space next season by finalizing a deal with Parsons.
That additional room could help the Cowboys replace some of the key players departing this season, including Lawrence, cornerback Jourdan Lewis and running back Rico Dowdle.
In 11 seasons with the Cowboys, Lawrence played nine playoff games and won three, all in the Wild Card round. Replacing these free agency losses will be crucial to the Cowboys going farther than that with Parsons, Lamb and Prescott next winter.
