Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter Among 200+ Players to Attend 2025 Big 12 Pro Day
The Big 12 has unveiled the more than 200 players who have been invited to participate in its annual pro day for NFL scouts leading up to the 2025 draft.
Colorado standouts Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter headline the list of invitees for the event scheduled to take place from March 18-21 at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
Both players opted not to take part in workouts at the scouting combine last month, though they did have meetings with teams in Indianapolis.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
Sanders and Hunter are expected to attend the Big 12 pro days, although once again they are not expected to go through workouts. They will instead be available for interviews during this event.
For Hunter, he told Ryan Wilson and Leger Douzable of CBS Sports at the combine he intends to go through both wide receiver and cornerback drills during his pro day.
Even though it seems unlikely an NFL team would allow Hunter to play the volume of snaps he did as a two-way player at Colorado, he remains steadfast in his desire to keep doing it at the next level.
Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi, whose team owns the No. 1 overall pick, told reporters at the combine he thinks Hunter can play both receiver and cornerback "at a high level" in the NFL.
While there's little doubt that Hunter is among the best players in this class, Sanders is still hoping to improve what was perceived as declining stock coming out of the combine.
There are certainly some prominent analysts who feel the discussion around Sanders at that point was intended to be a smear campaign.
Whatever happened in Indianapolis, there has definitely been a separation between Sanders and Cam Ward as the top quarterback in the class.
The consensus among mock drafts has Ward going No. 1 to the Titans, with Sanders not generating any consensus opinion at this point to make the first round.
B/R's NFL scouting department has Sanders ranked as the 18th-best prospect in the 2025 draft. The group actually mocked him No. 1 overall to the New York Giants in a projected trade with the Titans in a draft that was released after the combine.
The schedule doesn't list when wide receivers will workout, but presumably it will be with the running backs and tight ends at 10:15 a.m. ET on March 20. Quarterbacks and defensive backs will workout that same day after those first groups are done.
