Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb Learns About DeMarcus Lawrence's Seahawks Contract on Live Video
CeeDee Lamb was caught off guard during a live stream when he learned his Cowboys teammate DeMarcus Lawrence was headed to Seattle.
After 11 seasons in Dallas, the veteran defensive end reportedly inked a three-year, $42 million deal with $18 million guaranteed, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

“D-Law to the Seahawks. Woah," Lamb said, pausing mid-sentence in shock. "He's gone… I gotta hit my mans up."
Lamb and Lawrence have been teammates since Dallas selected Lamb 17th overall in 2020, spending five seasons together and reaching the postseason in three of those years.
The veteran defensive end's arrival in Seattle follows the team's release of edge rusher Dre'Mont Jones and reunites him with former Cowboys defensive line coach Aden Durde.
Lawrence played in just four games last season before a right midfoot sprain in Week 4 against the New York Giants sidelined him for the rest of the year. In his last full season in 2023, he appeared in all 17 games, recording 29 solo tackles, six passes defended, one forced fumble and four sacks.
Lamb recently restructured his contract with the Cowboys after signing a four-year, $136 million extension in August, saving the team $20 million in 2025 to help strengthen the roster.
The reason? Lamb put it simply: "I want to win. It's gonna take more than just myself."
Lamb has spent the last four seasons as a Pro Bowler, finishing the most recent season with 1,194 receiving yards and six touchdowns over 15 games.
In 2025, for the first time in his career, Lamb will walk into AT&T Stadium without the presence of Lawrence.
