The Clubhouse: A Year with the Red Sox was directed by four-time Emmy-winning filmmaker Greg Whiteley, who is known for his work on Last Chance U and Cheer.
The Red Sox entered the 2024 campaign coming off back-to-back last-place finishes in the AL East. While they improved slightly this past season, they missed the playoffs for the third straight year after posting an 81-81 record.
The trailer provided glimpses into the frustration Boston experienced as it tried to turn its fortune around. There were also intimate looks into the players’ homes and personal lives, as well as a behind-the-scenes exploration of how the organization navigated the 2024 trade deadline.
Fans will certainly be excited to get a deep dive into their favorite team after the 2025 MLB season gets underway. The Red Sox will open the year on March 27 against the Texas Rangers.
