
Breanna Stewart, Mist Ripped by Fans in Loss to Lunar Owls amid Unrivaled Playoff Race
There will be no playoffs for Unrivaled co-founder Breanna Stewart and Mist in the first season of the league.
The team was eliminated from postseason contention with a 92-58 loss to Lunar Owls on Monday. Mist needed a win against Lunar Owls along with a Vinyl loss to Rose later on Monday night. Now, Mist joins Phantom in missing the postseason while Vinyl earned a playoff spot thanks to the loss.
Lunar Owls has been the best team in Unrivaled this year and capped off a tremendous first season with a win to finish 13-1. Mist had an up-and-down year, but ultimately didn't have enough to keep their season going.

On Monday, Stewart, 15 points and 10 boards while Rickea Jackson led the way with 22 points. It wasn't enough to best Lunar Owls, which got 29 points from Napheesa Collier.
After officially being eliminated from the playoffs, fans blasted Stewart and Mist for the disappointing outing.
The playoff field is now set, though the matchups are still to be determined. Lunar Owls, Rose, Laces and Vinyl will compete for the first Unrivaled title starting on Sunday.
