Report: Dan Moore Agrees to $82M Titans Contract After 4 Seasons with Steelers

Zach BacharMar 10, 2025

The Tennessee Titans reportedly made a major addition to their offensive line on Monday.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Titans signed former Steelers left tackle Dan Moore to a four-year contract worth $82 million that contains $50 million guaranteed in free agency.

The deal includes $30 million in the first year of the contract and $50 million combined over the first two years, per Schefter.

The Steelers selected Moore with a fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft before he immediately established himself as a starter in his rookie season.

The 26-year-old's availability has remained consistent throughout his career, as he's suited up in 66 of a possible 68 regular-season games over the past four years. He also appeared in all 17 contests for Pittsburgh in 2024.

Moore's deal with the Titans now makes him the ninth-highest-paid tackle in the NFL on an average value basis, via Spotrac.

He received an overall grade of 67.2 from Pro Football Focus for his efforts last season despite allowing 12 sacks and 41 pressures.

Moore's 93 percent pass-block win rate ranked No. 11 among all tackles in 2024, though (per ESPN).

While the contract is hefty for a player without a Pro Bowl nod under his belt, Tennessee appears to be committed to improving its pass protection during the team's upcoming 2025 campaign. The Titans allowed 52 sacks last season, tied for the fifth-worst mark in the league.

Moore could serve as a blind-side protector for a potential incoming rookie quarterback, as Tennessee owns the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft and could select a signal-caller such as Miami's Cam Ward or Colorado's Shedeur Sanders.

As the Titans attempt to improve upon a 3-14 finish last season, they made an early free-agency splash on Monday by reportedly signing Moore.
