Latest Developments and Free Agency Preview

Fans who weren't tracking the NFL news wire over the weekend missed quite a lot. Things started getting interesting on Friday, when the Seattle Seahawks traded quarterback Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders.
A trickle of signings were announced on Saturday before a flood of moves came through on Sunday.
Sunday's action included the Los Angeles Rams signing free agent receiver Davante Adams to a two-year, $46 million deal and the Kansas City Chiefs extending linebacker Nick Bolton on a three-year, $45 million extension.
The Seattle Seahawks traded wide receiver DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.
The Cleveland Browns also announced an extension with pass-rusher Myles Garrett that will make him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. Garrett's extension will ensure that the star defender stays in Cleveland for the foreseeable future. It also puts an end to any drama that stemmed from Garrett's trade request earlier in the offseason.
Oh, and while teams were busy adding talent and locking up players they could potentially lose this offseason, the Buffalo Bills extended quarterback Josh Allen with a new six-year, $330 million contract.
At this point, fans may be wondering if there's actually any intrigue left for free agency week. The short answer is "absolutely."
