NFL Free Agency Rumors: 2025 Class Considered 'Mediocre' as Stars Re-Sign Contracts
The 2025 NFL free-agent class isn't viewed as a deep one as several stars returned to their respective teams on new contracts.

Several of the players projected to hit free agency will no longer be doing so. The Baltimore Ravens handed two-time Pro Bowl left tackle Ronnie Stanley a three-year contract worth $60 million on Saturday.
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zack Baun was expected to be one of the top players available following a breakout 2024 campaign. The Eagles ultimately retained him on a three-year, $51 million deal.
The Dallas Cowboys prevented defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa from hitting free agency, handing him a hefty four-year contract worth $80 million on Tuesday.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins and Kansas City Chiefs guard Trey Smith were viewed as two of the top offensive players available on the free-agent market. They ended up receiving franchise tags from the Bengals and Chiefs, though.
Front offices will still be searching for impact players and negotiating with free agents once the legal tampering period begins on Monday at 12 p.m. ET.
