DK Metcalf Trade Rumors: Raiders 'Have Talked' to Seahawks About Deal for WR

The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly among the teams entered in the DK Metcalf sweepstakes.

Brady Henderson of ESPN reported that the Raiders "have talked" to the Seattle Seahawks about Metcalf, who requested a trade on Wednesday.

Metcalf is a two-time Pro Bowler and has spent the past six seasons with the Seahawks. He had 66 catches for 992 yards and five touchdowns in 2024 as the Seahawks went 10-7.

The Raiders are in rebuild mode after a 4-13 season in 2024. Rookie tight end Brock Bowers led the team with 1,194 receiving yards and Jakobi Meyers was the top receiver with 1,027 receiving yards.

The Raiders could be a candidate to add a quarterback in free agency or utilize their first-round draft pick on a rookie. Either way, adding Metcalf to the receiver room would help ease the transition for the new signal-caller.

New head coach Pete Carroll was Metcalf's head coach in Seattle for five seasons.
