Video: NFL Legend Eli Manning Beats WNBA's Caitlin Clark in Pop-A-Shot
If anyone decides to create a professional Pop-A-Shot league, Eli Manning might look to end his retirement.
The New York Giants legend has bragging rights over Caitlin Clark after defeating the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year in a Pop-A-Shot match.

Not only did Manning defeat Clark, the result wasn't really all that close. He outscored her 76-51.
Clark, who admitted to being "bad" at Pop-A-Shot, did suggest she could get some help from Manning to improve in the future.
"Give it up for Eli... He's gonna give me lessons," the Indiana Fever star said.
There's no video evidence that Manning is secretly a basketball savant, but he and his brother, Peyton, did record a video for the NBA talking about when Eli dunked on Peyton in a pick-up game when Peyton was in college.
Pop-A-Shot isn't really Clark's style of basketball. It doesn't really require athleticism, as the players are stationary. She is a non-stop motion machine in an effort to wear down her opponents.
Manning was in his element because he was able to stand in a spot and deliver strikes on target. The tail end of his NFL career was hindered because he couldn't deal with pressure in the way that he used to, but he remained effective in a clean pocket.
Another possible explanation is Clark remains in offseason mode. WNBA training camps don't open until April 27, so a rematch during the summer might favor her.
This probably isn't the biggest victory of Manning's life since he did win two Super Bowls, but it might rank third depending on how he feels about Mississippi's 2003 Cotton Bowl win over Oklahoma State.
