Hunter Renfrow Trolls NFL Retirement Rumor; Former Raiders WR Reveals Comeback Attempt
Despite recent rumors, Hunter Renfrow isn't calling it a career just yet.
Following a report that Renfrow announced his retirement, the former Las Vegas Raiders receiver took to social media to clear the air.
"Just when I thought about making a comeback I get hit with this bombshell…… guess I shouldn’t have started working out again 2 months ago lol," he wrote on social media.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Renfrow didn't play in the NFL in 2024 after being released by the Raiders following the 2023 season. He went unsigned last year, but plenty of teams could use a wide receiver, and Renfrow could be the man for the job.
Renfrow had a strong start to his NFL career, tallying 500 or more yards in each of his first three seasons, including in 2021 when he had 1,038 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.
He dealt with injuries in 2022 and was limited to just 10 games before recording just 225 receiving yards in 2023.
But the Clemson product seems motivated to find his way back to the NFL and the recent rumors about his retirement could only give him more fuel.
Whether he'll end up on a roster this offseason remains to be seen.
