NFL Execs Predict Cam Ward to Titans, Shedeur Sanders to Browns in 2025 NFL Mock Draft
Despite all the questions that analysts have about the quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL draft, people within the league are predicting the top two picks will be Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders.
Per The Athletic's Mike Sando, a survey of five NFL executives predicted Ward will be the top pick to the Tennessee Titans and Sanders will go to the Cleveland Browns at No. 2 overall.
One executive downplayed the talk out of Tennessee that the No. 1 pick could be available in a trade.

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
"I don’t think they are not taking a quarterback," the executive said said. "I don’t think they are trading with anybody. I think they are going to pick Cam Ward and move on."
One popular rumor from ESPN's Jordan Raanan is that the New York Giants, after missing out on a chance to trade for Matthew Stafford, are exploring trade scenarios to move up two spots from No. 3 with the goal of adding Ward.
Sanders going No. 2 to the Browns in the executive poll is a surprise just because his stock seemed to fall coming out of the combine. NFL.com's Lance Zierlein projected him to Cleveland in his most recent mock, but at No. 29 with the team trading back into the first round.
One executive told Sando they think some teams will be scared off by Sanders "because of the dad (Deion Sanders), the social media stuff and how it’s about him, not the team."
Pro Football Focus' Trevor Sikkema recently said on The Dan Patrick Show he "could not find anybody that spoke with conviction" about Sanders being a first-round quarterback.
Sanders' status is shaping up to be the most fascinating storyline to follow in the first round of the draft. It's felt for a long time like he was a lock to go no lower than No. 6 overall where the Las Vegas Raiders pick.
While that scenario could still play out, there seems to be a divide within the NFL about Sanders' talent translating to the next level.
The Browns certainly need to come out of this offseason, either via the draft or free agency, with a quarterback given that Deshaun Watson could miss all of 2025 after re-rupturing his Achilles in January.
