NFL Insider: No 'Sense' Raiders Eye Aaron Rodgers amid Russell Wilson, Darnold Rumors
It sounds like yet another potential landing spot is off the board for veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers this offseason.
During Tuesday's episode of Scoop City, The Athletic's Dianna Russini expressed skepticism that the Las Vegas Raiders would pursue Rodgers, noting that they could be eyeing some of the other top free-agent quarterbacks on the open market.
"I can't think of a place for him that makes sense. Do you think Vegas should go after him? I don't sense that they are," Russini said around the 17:45 mark. "Vegas has interest in Russell Wilson, I'm hearing some Sam Darnold."

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
After veteran signal-caller Matthew Stafford agreed to a restructured deal to remain with the Los Angeles Rams, significant questions arose regarding where Rodgers would end up following his impending release from the New York Jets. The Raiders don't have a starting quarterback in place and seemed like a viable option, but it sounds like Wilson and Darnold are ahead of the 41-year-old on the team's target list.
Rodgers had contemplated retirement earlier this offseason, but many believe he's hoping to return for a 21st season in the NFL. However, with Las Vegas appearing to be out of the picture, it won't be easy for him to find a perfect fit as he tries to end his legendary career on a high note.
