On the other side of the court, Kayla McBride posted 20 points, five rebounds and three assists to lead her team.
Angel Reese got off to a slow start, not finding her first bucket until 1:49 remained in the first quarter. However, that shot was all she needed to get going, as she powered the Rose to a dominant second quarter, helping them take a 31-30 lead into halftime.
The Rose held a narrow 47-46 advantage heading into the final quarter, where the target score was set at 58.
Two quick buckets from Laces' Tiffany Hayes put the Rose behind 50-49 as both teams inched closer to the target. However, Chelsea Gray took over down the stretch, accounting for nine of the Rose’s final points, while Reese added a key two-point bucket to help seal the win.
The Rose will now turn their attention to a road matchup against the first-place Lunar Owls on Friday as they look to keep their momentum going.
