2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell—the B/R Scouting Department's top overall interior lineman in the 2025 NFL draft and No. 7 prospect overall, though he likely will be drafted to play offensive tackle—and Armand Membou (No. 2 tackle, No. 23 overall) both impressed on Sunday.
While Campbell's somewhat short arm length (32 5/8 inches) was a hot topic ahead of Sunday's testing, his impressive athleticism likely ensured his top-10 standing as a prospect:
Campbell's physical measurements could ultimately mean that guard is his best long-term position. But Campbell still feels like the sort of player who will get a shot at offensive tackle first in the NFL, especially after Sunday's showing.
And that's where he expects to play.
"I think I've shown everything that I need to, you know, show that I can play tackle at an elite level," he told reporters said Saturday. "You can go look at my tape, there's not one play on there that when I get beat you say that's because he has shorter arms. ... Obviously I don't have stereotypical offensive tackle arms. I'm aware of that. People have to nitpick something. I've heard it all my career. When I was coming out of high school, the college coaches all said the same thing. I proved them wrong. It's something I anticipate doing again."
Membou, like Campbell, has heard the talk that he may be better suited to move to guard (Membou's height, not his arm length, has sparked that conversation). And like Campbell, he was equally impressive on Sunday and made a strong case for remaining at tackle:
"I think most teams think that I have the ability to play tackle," he told reporters this weekend. "For me, I think there's no reason why I couldn't play tackle. I think I'm more than athletic enough, and I have the tools."
A Good Year to Need Interior Lineman
Offensive tackles generally get all the hype, but this year's draft class appears to be very deep at center and guard, and players like Tyler Booker and Grey Zabel highlighted a deep group on Sunday.
Teams at the end of the first round, or those looking to bolster the guard and center positions on the second day, are going to have some excellent options to choose from out of this group.
Other Odds and Ends
Aireontae Ersery is a big man. And that big man can scoot:
Imagine being a linebacker or defensive back seeing Ersery rumble towards you as a puller or on a screen pass. Scary thought.
Josh Simmons (the B/R Scouting Department's No. 2 offensive tackle, No. 27 player overall) should remain a first-round prospect despite his injury recovery:
Finally, some significant measurement differences between the showcase bowls and the combine:
Football is a game of inches, but it apparently depends on who is measuring them.
