Xavier Worthy Reacts to Isaiah Bond's 40-Yard Dash: 'There's Fast Then There's Me'
Xavier Worthy reacted to the 40-yard dash time from Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond at the 2025 NFL scouting combine on Saturday.
After Bond ran the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds, the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver and former Longhorn seemingly responded on social media.

Bond previously said that he'd break Worthy's 40-yard dash combine record of 4.21 seconds that was set in 2024.
Matthew Golden, another Texas wideout, showcased his speed at the combine by completing the 40-yard dash in an official time of 4.29 seconds.
Longhorns running back Jaydon Blue also failed to break Worthy's record after expressing confidence that he'd be able to do so, although he still finished with an unofficial time of 4.39 seconds on his second 40-yard dash attempt.
The Chiefs receiver playfully called out his former teammate in an Instagram story, though.
"I think Iโll break the 40 recordโฆ4.1 or 4.20," Blue said Friday, perย Dane Bruglerย of The Athletic.
Worthy boosted his draft stock with his record-setting 40-yard dash time in 2024, with Kansas City ultimately selecting him with the No. 28 overall pick in the draft.
The 21-year-old wasn't immediately able to build upon a strong Week 1 performance in the NFL, but he closed out his rookie year on a high note. Over his final five regular-season starts, he hauled in 31 receptions for 285 yards and two touchdowns.
On the season as a whole, Worthy amassed 742 yards from scrimmage and found the end zone nine times.
He also stepped up during the Chiefs' run to a Super Bowl LIX appearance, racking up 287 yards and three scores across three playoff games. This included a 157-yard performance in Kansas City's Super Bowl defeat.
While several former Longhorns believed they could beat Worthy's combine record, none were able to do so.
