Ewers then got to work with some of his former Longhorns targets during Saturday's on-field throwing session.
Ewers' throwing accuracy early in Saturday's session earned him praise from viewers:
The Texas signal-caller received some criticism as he struggled to connect on long throws later in the afternoon:
Ewers is entering the draft after three seasons with Texas. He led the SEC with 31 passing touchdowns in 2024, despite later revealing he had played through an injury for the majority of the season.
He was ranked as the No. 7 quarterback and No. 100 overall prospect on Bleacher Report's latest 2025 NFL Draft Big Board. B/R NFL scout Dame Parson comped him to Andy Dalton as a prospect who "flashes the potential to be a high-end quarterback but lacks consistency."
Ewers will hope Saturday's throwing session was enough to convince scouts of that "high-end" potential in time for the draft to take place in Green Bay this April.
