Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Rams announced Friday the team had agreed to terms with Stafford on a restructured contract.
Nacua shared multiple posts celebrating the news on his Instagram story:
It's no surprise Nacua is celebrating Stafford's return after two seasons as one of his top targets in Los Angeles.
After setting multiple rookie records with 1,486 receiving yards in his first NFL season, Nacua saw his overall production decrease to 990 receiving yards as he missed time with a knee injury in 2024.
Stafford said while Nacua was sidelined that the receiver's injury meant the loss of "his personality in the huddle, the juice that he brings out to practice, the zest for football and life that he has."
Nacua meanwhile shared similar praise about playing with Stafford when discussing the quarterback with Sports Illustrated earlier this month.
"It's super exciting, with his arm, that he can throw the ball anywhere," Nacua said in early February. "So it makes it so fun to be a receiver, and just to be on his team. He's such a great leader. The way he engages with everybody makes playing the game of football so fun."
Nacua could be playing an even bigger role with the Rams in 2025 now that Cooper Kupp has announced he seek a trade from the team.
If the Rams finalize a deal for Kupp, a healthy 2025 season will put Nacua on track to spend at least one more year as Stafford's top target.
