If you've played College Football 25, especially on Heisman difficulty, you know that the pocket can collapse incredibly quickly when you drop back to pass.
But Kansas City Chiefs wideout Marquise "Hollywood" Brown thinks that might be a bit more realistic after watching Tennessee edge-rusher James Pearce Jr. record an impressive unofficial time of 4.47 seconds in the 40-yard dash:

Pearce probably solidified his first-round status on Thursday. Coming into the combine he was already considered the No. 25 prospect in the 2025 NFL draft by the B/R NFL Scouting Department and the No. 21 overall prospect by NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah.
And The Athletic's Bruce Feldman listed him at No. 14 on his annual Combine Freaks list, writing that "As a sophomore, the 6'5" and 243-pounder wowed folks in the Citrus Bowl when he clocked 23 mph on a pick six against Iowa, turning in one of the fastest GPS measurements of any FBS play all season."
So Thursday's blazing time wasn't too surprising among those familiar with Pearce's freakishly athletic profile, though it nonetheless felt a bit video game-esque.
