
Cowboys, Warriors, Knicks Top Sportico's 2025 List of Most Valuable Franchises
The Dallas Cowboys top Sportico's annual list of the most valuable franchises in world sports at $10.32 billion, per Kurt Badenhausen.
The Golden State Warriors ($9.14 billion), New York Knicks ($8.3 billion), Los Angeles Lakers ($8.07 billion) and New York Yankees ($7.93 billion) round out the top five.
As noted by Badenhausen, all franchises in Sportico's top 100 are worth at least $2.03 billion (that's the valuation for the San Diego Padres at No. 100). Collectively, the 100 teams are worth $470 billion, "including team-related businesses and real estate held by owners," per Badenhausen.

League-wise, 13 NFL teams make up the top 20 most valuable franchises, including the squads in the Nos. 6 through 13 spots.
Manchester United is the first soccer club on the list at No. 17 ($6.2 billion). Ferrari's paces F1 teams at No. 48 ($4.78 billion). The most valuable NHL team is the Toronto Maple Leafs (No. 70, at $3.66 billion).
The top 100 consists of all 32 NFL teams, all 30 NBA teams, 15 of 30 MLB teams, 10 soccer clubs, eight of 32 NHL teams and five of 10 F1 teams.
