Mike Vrabel Jokes About Tom Brady's Role as Raiders Owner: 'It Can’t Be That Hard'
New England Patriots head coach and former Tom Brady teammate, Mike Vrabel, believes the Las Vegas Raiders' minority owner will be successful in the role.
"How hard is it? It can't be that hard. It's not like playing," he joked while speaking with reporters. "But no, Tom will provide great input. It's important that he's involved in our league and I think that's a great thing for the National Football League."
Brady has already had a major role in the decisions to hire Pete Carroll as head coach and John Spytek as general manager, and likely will have his fair share of input when it comes to the team's roster construction through the draft and free agency as well.

"We happen to have the greatest of all time to help us and to see clearly, and we're going to lean on Tom as much as we possibly can for his insights because nobody has the insights that he has," Carroll told reporters in January. "He's that unique."
Brady will be splitting his time between the Raiders and the broadcast booth, where he just finished a lackluster first season as Fox's top color commentator alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt. There's plenty of belief in his ability to get the Raiders back on the right track, however.
