Travis Hunter to Jaguars, Jeanty to Broncos in Bucky Brooks' 2025 NFL Mock Draft
Travis Hunter is taking his two-way talent to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the latest mock draft from NFL.com's Bucky Brooks.
Brooks' latest mock projects edge-rusher Abdul Carter, quarterbacks Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders and offensive tackle Will Campbell already being off the board by the time the Jaguars get on the clock at No. 5.
Brooks writes that "adding a dynamic defensive playmaker could help solidify the Jaguars' coverage and improve their takeaway prowess in a 'see ball, get ball' scheme under new DC Anthony Campanile."

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
The Jaguars finished the 2024 season as one of the worst defensive teams in the NFL. Campanile, a first-time defensive coordinator but 19-year veteran of NFL coaching staffs, was hired in January to fix that.
When discussing his vision for the 2025 Jaguars' defense earlier this month, Campanile said he was looking for aggressive players this fall.
"The most important thing you talk about when you talk about defense is your play style," Campbell said, per Jaguars.com's John Oehser. "My vision for us defensively, we want to be a tough, fast, physical, violent-at-the-point-of-attack team."
Hunter, who earned the Heisman Trophy for his success at cornerback as well as wide receiver last season, could potentially fit into that scheme.
Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos are able to wait until No. 20 to snag standout Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty in Brooks' projection.
Should Jeanty remain on the board at No. 20, Brooks wrote that he "can't imagine Sean Payton bypassing an RB1 with three-down ability and the potential to score from anywhere on the field."
The Broncos ranked in the middle of the pack in both rushing and passing offense last season. Adding a running back with the potential to be a star like Jeanty could be key to changing that next season.
Denver is one of the teams scheduled to meet with Jeanty at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, per Ryan Fowler of the Draft Network. That meeting could help the Broncos decide if Jeanty is the potential RB1 whom they need to energize a running back room currently staffed by Jaleel McLaughlin, Audric Estimé, Tyler Badie and Blake Watson.
