Aaron Rodgers Rumors: No Team is 'Locked In' on QB Ahead of 2025 NFL Free Agency
It sounds like the market for veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers is fairly tepid with the four-time MVP looking for a new team.
On the newest episode of her Scoop City podcast, The Athletic's Dianna Russini said she's "trying to find some interested teams that would want to bring Rodgers in and I don't think he has a very robust market." She added that "there's no one team that I'm hearing that is in the market, locked in on Rodgers."

Russini cited the obvious concerns with the 41-year-old: his age, the Achilles injury from 2023, and his generally underwhelming run with the New York Jets.
The Jets announced on Feb. 13 they're letting Rodgers go this offseason. The move probably won't be made official until March 12, which is the start of the NFL's 2025 league year.
But teams around the league are well aware that Rodgers will be available.
Regarding his next stop, the 10-time Pro Bowler told TMZ Sports he wants to be wanted by a team and have a strong roster around him.
That second part might be the problem.
A contending team may not be all that inclined to pursue Rodgers when he's coming off such a poor season by his usual standards. His 6.78 adjusted yards per attempt tied for his fewest as a starter, per Pro Football Reference, and he ranked 25th in QBR (48.0) at ESPN.com.
And Rodgers, for his part, might not jump at the chance to spend the twilight of his NFL career on a middling team. The Athletic's Mike Sando spoke with an agent who suggested he "won't want the teams that will want him."
Things could change as the biggest quarterback pieces in free agency come off the board. For now, fans should come to terms with the idea that Rodgers may have played his last NFL game.
