A brand new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is set to launch on March 3, with new parks already being teased ahead of its release.

Hawk teased the release by sharing images of the launch date along with several pro skateboarders, including Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Rodney Mullen and Eric Koston.

Hawk's first Pro Skater game was released in 1999, with the last installment arriving in 2015. While remastered versions of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 were released in 2021, no new entry has been launched in a decade.

More than 25 years later, skateboarding fans are finally getting a long-awaited revamp, featuring new parks and more announcements to come.

Back in September, Hawk first began teasing new developments in the Pro Skater series, hinting that "something" was in the works during an appearance on Mythical Kitchen.

“It will be something the fans will truly appreciate,” Hawk added.

The 56-year-old picked up skateboarding at nine years old before signing with the Powell Peralta professional team at 14. By 16, he was considered one of the greatest skateboarders in the world. Hawk was named the top vert skater for 12 consecutive years (1984-96) and won 73 titles.

The Encinitas, California native has collected 16 X-Games medals, including 10 gold, three silver and three bronze, between 1995 and his retirement in 2003, before returning to the competition in 2021.
