
Sabrina Ionescu, Griner Excite Fans as Phantom Beat Rhyne Howard, Vinyl in Unrivaled
Phantom BC snapped a three-game losing streak by defeating Vinyl BC 79-72 in Saturday night's Unrivaled matchup.
Phantom BC held a nine-point lead through three quarters, but Vinyl BC cut the deficit to 66-65 during the fourth. It ultimately couldn't get any closer, as Phantom BC pulled away before a three-pointer from Natasha Cloud ended the game.
The duo of Sabrina Ionescu and Brittney Griner shined for Phantom BC, as the two players finished with 22 points apiece.

Ionescu shot just 40.9 percent from the field, but she hit a pair of triples and added nine rebounds to go along with three assists. She started off strong, scoring Phantom BC's first seven points of the game.
Griner was also a force on the glass, pulling down seven rebounds while racking up a game-high three blocks. The nine-time WNBA All-Star shot 7-10 from the field and connected on all four of her free-throw attempts.
Fans were amazed by Phantom BC's leading scorers.
Despite the loss, Rhyne Howard wrapped up an impressive offensive performance for Vinyl BC. Howard scored 28 points and recorded three steals, shooting 7-13 from three-point territory.
She was the only member of Vinyl BC to connect on an attempt from behind the arc, though.
Phantom BC stayed at No. 5 in the Unrivaled standings with the win, improving to 3-6. Vinyl BC fell to 4-6.
