The Laces just have the Phantom's number.

Betnijah Laney-Hamilton added 23 points in her Unrivaled debut.

It was a fairly shocking result on a number of fronts, given that the Phantom were missing Alyssa Thomas, Kate Martin, Tiffany Hayes and Jackie Young to injuries.

The Laces also have plenty of star power, led by Sabrina Ionescu (16 points, nine rebounds, 6-of-17 from the field), Natasha Cloud (13 points, eight assists) and Brittney Griner (14 points), but they can't quite seem to find the chemistry this season, dropping to 2-6 on the year.

And it isn't the first time the Phantom have shockingly lost to the Laces. In the first matchup between the teams, the Laces won by a stunning 35 points.

Add it all up, and fans were trying to figure out what was going on with the Phantom after Tuesday's result:

While the Phantom continue to struggle, the Laces just keep on keeping on, moving to 5-3 on the season. Only the undefeated Lunar Owls, led by Napheesa Collier, Allisha Gray and Skylar Diggins-Smith, have been better.
