
NFL Legend Tom Brady Says Commentating Role Is Tougher Than Playing QB in Video
After completing his first season in his new career as an NFL broadcaster, legendary quarterback Tom Brady admitted that it wasn't an easy transition.
In a video posted to his YouTube channel (4:11 mark), Brady was asked which job was tougher between playing quarterback and commentating NFL games, and he didn't hesitate to answer that commentating was more difficult:

Brady worked as Fox's lead analyst in the first year of a 10-year, $375 million contract with the network. He commentated Super Bowl LIX between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs alongside lead play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt.
However, the 47-year-old's first foray into broadcasting wasn't without its challenges. Brady faced criticism from fans during his first season, with Brady himself acknowledging he made "plenty" of mistakes. He did, however, say that he had learned from his mistakes.
The 2025 NFL season will give Brady the chance to continue developing his skills as a lead analyst.
