Daniel Jeremiah 2025 NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Travis Hunter to Giants, Jeanty to Steelers

NFL Network draft guru Daniel Jeremiah unveiled his latest 2025 mock draft on Tuesday, and it features an interesting change near the top of the order.

Jeremiah predicted this time around that Colorado two-way phenom Travis Hunter would fall to the New York Giants at the No. 3 pick. He had originally projected Hunter to be selected at No. 2 by the Cleveland Browns in his first mock draft, but he pegged Miami quarterback Cam Ward for the Browns in the new edition, leaving Hunter to fall into the Giants' laps.

Here are the top 10 projected picks in Jeremiah's mock:

1. Tennessee Titans: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

2. Cleveland Browns: Cam Ward, QB, Miami

3. New York Giants: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

4. New England Patriots: Will Campbell, OT, LSU

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

6. Las Vegas Raiders: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

7. New York Jets: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

8. Carolina Panthers: Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

9. New Orleans Saints: Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

10. Chicago Bears: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

Drafting Hunter could give the Giants an exciting receiver duo, as he would pair nicely with 2024 No. 6 pick Malik Nabers, who earned a Pro Bowl selection as a rookie. If New York chooses to use Hunter primarily as a cornerback, he would replace veteran cornerback Adoree' Jackson, who is a free agent this offseason.

Elsewhere in his mock draft, Jeremiah predicted that the Pittsburgh Steelers would land a game-changing offensive talent with the No. 21 pick by selecting Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty. The nation's leading rusher in 2024 is considered one of the best overall players in this year's class, so having him fall to No. 21 would be a sign of good fortune for the Steelers.

"The Steelers spent the past two drafts beefing up their offensive line. Now they land a top-five player in the class to run behind it," Jeremiah stated.

The 2025 draft will commence on April 24, so there will surely be more changes coming to mock drafts over the next few weeks.
