Cooper Kupp Trade Rumors: Commanders Linked with Patriots, Steelers by NFL Insider
The Washington Commanders, New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers are all teams to watch out for in a potential Cooper Kupp trade.
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported on Monday's SportsCenter that the Los Angeles Rams would "prefer to get some sort of compensation for him. They're going to save at least $7 million on their cap by doing so. Talking to people around the league, he will have a market because he's so quarterback friendly. The Patriots could look into this, certainly Washington is looking for a complimentary No. 2 receiver, and the Steelers as well."
If the Rams can't find a trade partner, however, they'll likely cut him to avoid his $29.7 million cap hit in 2025 and $27.3 million cap hit in 2026. Kupp already confirmed on social media that the team told him they plan to move on this offseason.

As for potential destinations, Kupp would be a fantastic addition for the Commanders in the slot alongside Terry McLaurin, giving ascendant quarterback Jayden Daniels another weapon in the passing game.
The Patriots desperately need more playmakers on the offensive side of the ball, meanwhile, and Pittsburgh could use a running mate for the talented but sometimes erratic George Pickens. All three teams make sense as suitors.
