Frankie Muniz Schedule Set for NASCAR Truck Series and 'Malcolm in the Middle' Reunion
Actor Frankie Muniz has a busy schedule to balance as he films a Malcolm in the Middle reunion while also driving in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the 2025 season.
Fox Sports' Bob Pockrass reported that filming for the reunion series begins in April. Muniz is set to shoot scenes from Sunday through Wednesday and then go to the racetrack and compete in the Truck Series from Thursday through Saturday.
The 39-year-old is starting his first year as a full-time driver for Reaume Brothers Racing, finishing at No. 10 in the fifth NASCAR Truck Series start of his career on Friday.
Muniz told Pockrass that he "couldn't ask for anything better" after the race.
"I know I have to prove myself here," Muniz said. "Last year, I didn't have the opportunity to do that. And not that this fully does that, right? This is great. This is a step. Hopefully, I earn respect."
He previously raced full-time in the ARCA Menards Series during the 2023 season, finishing at No. 4 in the standings. Muniz also participated in eight races that included ARCA, Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series competition in 2024.
The next stop on the Truck Series schedule is the Fr8 208, which will take place at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday.
