Tiger Woods Will 'Look to Play Some of the Bigger Events' on 2025 PGA Tour Schedule

Tiger Woods hasn't played since the 2024 Open Championship in July, but he expressed optimism that he will be able to play at select PGA Tour events during the 2025 season.

"I haven't been able to do that," Woods said during his time in the CBS broadcast booth Sunday while hosting the Genesis Invitational, per ESPN's Paolo Uggetti. "I'll get back after it and look to play some of the bigger events."

Woods withdrew from participating in the Genesis Invitational following the death of his mother, Kultida, who died at the age of 80 on Feb. 4.

"Losing her has been a hard and difficult process to go through," Woods said. "Mom was my rock."

Woods has participated in two TGL matches this year, and he's set to return to TGL play on Tuesday when the Jupiter Links faces the New York Golf Club.

Uggetti noted that he didn't specifically commit to any events before the Masters Tournament in April.
